All stakeholders to put their best efforts to make Reading Campaign a grand success: CEO Reasi

Reasi: Hundred days ‘Reading Campaign’ under Padhe Bharat is in full swing in district Reasi in which students are participating very actively across six zones of the district in three categories as described in guidelines of Ministry of Education GoI, viz Balvatika to 2nd,3rd to 5th,6th to 8th.

Mr. Mohd Aziz, Chief Education Officer Reasi informed that in the ongoing 7th week 3623 students representing 693 schools in first category (Balvatika to 2nd), 5012 students representing 752 schools in second category (3rd to 5th) and 5309 students representing 456 schools in third are reaping benefits of the initiative.ì

Category (6th to 8th) has covered across District Reasi under Padhe Bharat campaign in coordination with various stakeholders including ZNOs, parents and HOIs.

Earlier, Children were benefitted with the joyful curriculum of the campaign under the constant guidance of their teachers through online mode and as the schools have opened up now, campaign is expected to reach more students through out the district, added CEO Reasi.8

Sanjeev Kumar Sharma DNO Padhe Bharat (Reasi) informed that Reading Campaign has remained helpful to the students in developing their imagination power in addition to improving their concentration, vocabulary and language skills.

The weekly schedule of activities provided by Ministry of Education GoI is very child friendly where they read and learn accordingly with fun and amusement.Such campaigns are playing a very vital role in recovering the learning loss caused due to pandemic.

All stakeholders including ZNOs/parents/ teachers are working in smooth collaboration for reaching out to every single child residing in inaccessible areas of the district as ZNOs,Complex Heads and students are constantly being boosted through virtual webinars and offline meetings, added Sanjeev Kumar Sharma DNO Reasi.

Chief Education Officer Reasi has directed all stakeholders including ZEOs, ZNOs, HOIs and teachers of the district to put in all efforts to make the initiative a grand success beside successful celebration of International Mother Tongue Day (8th week activity) on 21st February 2022 in their institutions as per the guidelines of Padhe Bharat Reading Campaign.
