Jammu: In order to promote the counseling themes given in Counselling Calendar, through various activities, District Counselling Cell Jammu under the directions of Directorate of School Education Jammu organized its second event under Manodarpan in which The Chief Education Officer Jammu Sh. Suraj Singh Rathore was the chief guest. The theme ‘Delinquency’ was highlighted through activities like skit, role play, speech, paintings; mime, etc. by the students of different schools.
The Chief Education Officer Jammu congratulated the Counselling cell for its various initiatives especially taken during post -covid pandemic time when students are under stress and anxiety. At this hour, the role played by faculty counselors for the well-being and their betterment was highly appreciated by worthy CEO Jammu. He highlighted various counseling initiatives and said that happiness zones created in the schools are proving fruitful in removing mental stress of the students and bringing a smile on their innocent faces.
The students from HSS Channi Himmat, GGHS Jourian, GGMS Chak Baghagwana, HSS (Boys) Akhnoor, HSS Marh participated in different events viz. role play, skit, speech, poster making, short story, slogan writing, etc. District Counselling Coordinator Jammu Ms. Shifali Gupta,Zonal Counselling Coordinator Hardeep Singh Jamwal, Faculty Counsellor Dr. Jyoti Malhotra spoke on the topic “ Delinquency” and created awareness amongst students about it. Mtr. Ruhi Kousar,Ms. Shikha, Ms.Radhika, Mr.Rakesh, and Ms.Neha guided and prepared the students for different events.
