Jammu, Dec.15: In order to create awareness amongst students about Dogra Dynasty, GGHS City Chowk Jammu organised a visit to Dogra Art Museum Mubarak Mandi Jammu.
The students were acquainted with the collection of miniature paintings especially paintings from Basohali, Terracotta heads from Akhnoor, sculptures, numismatics, manuscripts, dogra costumes, jewellery, arms and armoury, metal objects and decorative art.
The students felt a deep sense of belongingness with Dogra heritage and appreciated the Curator Sh. Mukul Magotra for its well maintenance and preservation of manuscripts .
The students were accompanied by the school teachers Dr. Alka Sharma, Ms. Akriti Sharma and watchman Fatima.
