Jammu,26th January 2024:- Govt SRML Model Higher Secondary School Jammu celebrated 75th Republic Day with great enthusiasm ,pomp and show. The flag hoisting ceremony was taken place at 7: 30 am and it symbolises our collective respect for the national flag and the values it represents. This solemn moment was accompanied by the stirring strains of the national anthem. The fact is that this day is celebrated to foster patriotism and instil a sense of unity and integrity among students. It is pertinent to mention here that all the staff members,NCC cadets and students participated the event.
Following the hoisting ceremony ,Smt Anjali Gupta Principal GOVT.SRML MODEL HSS JAMMU, addressed the students and highlighted the essence of Republic day. She said that celebrating this Day is an opportunity to commemorate India’s being Republic.Smt.Anjali also highlighted the importance of democracy and its spirit. She said that the Republic day instil a sense of civic responsibility and pride among the students. Through, the blend of cultural expressions and educational activities, we aim to reinforce the values that define our nation, she further added.”
The event was then concluded after sweets and refreshments were distributed among students and staff.
