Hirangar: Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Marheen, under Zone Hiranagar, organized a program on the occasion of International Women’s Day, focusing on “Safety and Security for Women.” The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of women’s safety and empower them with knowledge and resources to protect themselves. The program featured presentations, discussions, and interactive sessions led by experts from the local police department and social organizations. Attendees were educated on various safety measures for women, including self-defense techniques, personal security strategies, and reporting mechanisms for incidents of violence or harassment.
