Shiksha Saptah(Education week) is an initiative promoting awareness and celebrating the importance of education in India. In an effort to enhance digital literacy and skill development among students, Day 5 of week-long “Shiksha Saptah” initiative was celebrated with great enthusiasm in various schools across Zone Sallan.
Day 5 presents a unique opportunity to highlight the critical role of skill education and digital literacy in the country’s holistic development. By dedicating a day within this observance to skill and digital education, we can raise awareness and empower students with the necessary competencies.
Empowering students through skill education is a key priority as it enhances their employability and boosts their overall personality and self-esteem. Mr. Sanjeev Sharma, lecturer in physics, GHSS Magloor gave an awareness lecture on importance and diversity of skilling options available to students.
GHS Parangoli emphasized how Digital literacy can improve learning, help students discern information, empowers students to communicate effectively using digital tools such as email, social media video conferencing etc. through skits very well presented by students.
Zone Sallan’s educational authorities expressed their commitment to making such initiatives a regular part of the curriculum, emphasizing the importance of preparing students for a digitally-driven future.
Through various awareness lectures snd programmes, it is shown how these skills are essential for future professional success.
