Induction meeting held at JU’s Bhaderwah Campus

Bhaderwah August 8 : The Bhaderwah Campus University of Jammu today organized an induction meeting to welcome new students from various departments including Computer Science, Management, English, Geography, and the School of Education. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of fresher students and faculty members from these departments.

Rector of Bhaderwah Campus Prof. J.P. Singh Joorel graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his address, Prof. Joorel extended a warm welcome and congratulations to the new students. He emphasized the importance of working with utmost honesty and dedication, encouraging the students to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits. Prof. Joorel also stressed the significance of maintaining a neat and clean campus environment, urging both students and faculty to contribute towards this goal.

The induction meeting began with a formal welcome address delivered by Dr. Kuljit Singh, Academic Coordinator of Bhaderwah Campus. He expressed his excitement in welcoming the new students and highlighted the academic opportunities and resources available to them.

The incharge heads of various departments also addressed the gathering which include Dr. Abid Sarwar, Incharge Head of the Department of Computer Science who emphasized the importance of technical skills and innovation. Incharge Head of the Department of Management Dr Umesh Choudhary spoke about the dynamic field of management and the need for continuous learning. Incharge Head of the Department of English Dr Rakesh Sharma highlighted the significance of effective communication and literary studies. Incharge Head of the Department of Geography Dr Chhering Tandup discussed the relevance of geographical knowledge in understanding global and local issues. Incharge Head of the School of Education Dr Akash focused on the crucial role of education in shaping future leaders.

During the induction meet, many students expressed their views, sharing their excitement and aspirations for their time at Bhaderwah Campus. Their enthusiastic participation added a vibrant and interactive dimension to the event, reflecting the positive and inclusive atmosphere of the campus.
