JU’s Bhaderwah Campus Celebrates 78th Independence Day

Bhaderwah, August 15: The Bhaderwah Campus of Jammu University celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. Prof. J. P. Singh Joorel led the celebrations by unfurling the Tri-Colour and taking the salute from the students of Little Angels School during their impressive march-past performance.

A large gathering of students, teaching, and non-teaching staff attended the event, all united in their celebration of India’s independence.

In his address, Prof. J. P. Singh Joorel highlighted the importance of Independence Day and the sacrifices made by countless martyrs who laid down their lives to protect the nation’s integrity and sovereignty. He emphasized the values of freedom, unity, and resilience, reminding everyone of the collective responsibility to honor and preserve the legacy of the freedom fighters.

Prof. Joorel spoke passionately about the ongoing efforts to safeguard the nation’s integrity against those who seek to destabilize it. He assured that the nefarious designs of such elements would not succeed, thanks to the unwavering spirit and dedication of the people of India.

The celebrations were further enlivened by a colorful cultural bonanza presented by the students of Bhaderwah Campus. Their performances showcased the rich cultural heritage of India and the vibrant spirit of the young generation.

Dr. Kuljit Singh conducted the proceedings of the event with great poise and enthusiasm, ensuring a seamless flow of activities. Dr. Subash Chander presented the formal welcome address, expressing gratitude to all participants and contributors who made the event a grand success.
