DODA: The Zonal Level “Kala Utsav 2024” was organized at Government Higher Secondary School Chinta, Bhaderwah, showcasing artistic talents of students from classes 9-12.
Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Koul, Associate NCC Officer and Zonal Cultural & Counselling Incharge, emphasized nurturing young talent and promoting cultural values in education.
Over 60 students from various schools, including PMSHRI HSS Bhalra, HSS Chinta, HSS Girls, and HSS Boys, participated in categories like instrumental music, vocal music, traditional storytelling, theatre, and dance.
A panel of judges, comprising Dr. Kailash Kumar, Dr. Mehinder Kumar, and Mr. Farooq Ahmed, evaluated performances to select winners for the District level Kala Utsav.
Chief Guest Mr. Shafayat Ahmed, Zonal Education Officer Bhaderwah and Principal HSS Girls, was joined by dignitaries along with Mr. Manjeet Singh Billoria.
The event highlighted India’s rich cultural heritage and Bhaderwah’s unique traditions. Winners will proceed to the District level competition.
Prizes, appreciation certificates, and special mementoes were distributed. The program was coordinated by Dr. Koul under the guidance of Mr. Raj Mohd, I/c Principal HSS Chinta.
