SRINAGAR, JUNE 29: Secretary Tribal Affairs Department, Salma Hameed, today convened a meeting to review construction work on Eklaya Model Residential (EMR) Schools and Hostels being undertaken by Housing Board.
Director Tribal Affairs Mohammad Rafi, Managing Director Housing Board Manmohan Singh, Special Secretary Tribal Affairs Mohammad Sharif Choudhary and other concerned attended the meeting.
On the occasion, Hameed stressed upon the Housing Board authorities to complete the ongoing work within the stipulated time as per the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between Housing Board and the Tribal Affairs Department.
She asked the Director Tribal Affairs to personally monitor the progress of the work on EMR Schools and hostels.
During the meeting, the Secretary Tribal Affairs was informed that the works being executed are as per the required quality norms and will be completed on time.
